Fabric Strategy Plan and Various Projects

Development of the Fabric Strategy Plan for Cathedral and its estate, resulting in a long term programme of ongoing maintenance as well as the development of fundable major projects.

Introduction of contract management and procurement processes for the institution were also required to enable delivery.

These included major repairs at high level to the central tower, installation of internal porches at the north and south doors and the critically acclaimed Heritage Lottery Funded 'Open Treasure' project which saw the construction of gallery and museum space throughout the 14th century claustral buildings.

There was also the rare and fantastic opportunity to manage the installation of a new memorial stained glass window in the north quire aisle.
